On July 4th 2010 it became law that personell involved with the recovery of R134a refrigerants should be suitably qualified.  I have therefore attended the latest City & Guilds  Safe Handling of Refrigerants coarse 5101-04-301.

From week 22 of 2016, the air conditioning systems of all new production vehicles use a new refrigerant called R1234YF. Although there is little demand at present for servicing vehicles with this refrigerant I am now equipped to carry out service and repair of vehicles using R1234YF.
